Terms and Conditions

Your reservation

Your reservation will become provisional when you make contact with us by email or phone. A deposit of 25% of the cost of the reservation will confirm your booking. If the reservation is made 8 weeks or less before the arrival date of your stay, the full payment for your reservation is due. The receipt of your deposit confirms secures the quoted price of the reservation.

Balance of reservation is due 8 weeks before arrival. If balance of payment is not made on time (8 weeks before arrival), we reserve the right to cancel your reservation without notice.

Confirmation of your reservation will be communicated by email with a deposit or balance invoice. Your confirmation email will include the terms of your reservation and payment schedule.

Payments

Payments are preferred in Euros, however direct deposit payments are possible in Euros, British pounds or Australian dollars to respective bank accounts. If your payment is not in Euros, please contact us for a conversion rate and payment details, which will be valid for 24 hours. Charges for bank transfers and conversions from other currencies the responsibility of the customer. A 3% fee will be charged on PayPal and credit card payments.

Any discounts offered for booking through this website are only available for direct bookings and not when booked on other reservation sites.

Amendments

We understand that circumstances change, and encourage you to purchase travel insurance immediately upon booking to cover any costs you may incur for unforeseen circumstances.

Should you need to amend your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do what we can to accommodate your request – however, during peak periods, we usually have tight turn arounds and little flexibility. If we are able to amend your booking, we reserve the right to charge Euro50 for the amendments.

In the unlikely event that we need to make amendments to your reservation, you will not be liable for any additional costs.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your reservation, the following applies to your payment following confirmation with deposit.

  • More than 8 weeks before arrival: No penalty, full deposit will be refunded.
  • 4-8 weeks before arrival: loss of deposit
  • 15-28 days before arrival: 50% of amount paid
  • 8-14 days before arrival 75% of amount paid
  • 0-7 days before arrival: 100% of amount paid.

We want you to enjoy your stay in the apartment, and the next person after you, as well as the building neighbours. As such, your reservation is on the condition that you do not use it in a way which would be disruptive or damaging to the property, neighbours, or other individuals. The apartment is not a party venue, and animals and smoking are not permitted in the property. Should it be found that you have breached these terms, we reserve the right to terminate your stay, withhold your damage deposit to cover additional cleaning and repairs, and you will be not eligible for refund of monies paid, and will be responsible for any damages.

Damage deposit

We require a €500 / £450 damage deposit which will be returned through your chosen payment method (direct deposit or credit card) within two weeks of your stay, pending satisfactory condition of the apartment and its condition.

Cleaning

While we will organise for the apartment to be cleaned after your stay, to help keep the cost of the apartment rental reasonable, we ask that you help a little at the end of your stay by doing a few simple things before you check out to leave the apartment essentially as you found it.

  • Wash and dry dishes, cutlery, pots and pans; Put on dishwasher, put away dishes, pots, pans and cutlery when clean.
  • Wipe down stove, oven, microwave, fridge and bench tops.
  • Clean coffee machine steam wand nozzle if you used it, and remove spent coffee.
  • Empty fridge of degradable products. Unopened pantry items with a long shelf life may be left for the next guest.
  • Please separate plastics, glass, cans and paper from regular rubbish.
  • Please empty bins and recycling and take to the waste disposal units in the train station car park.
  • Leave towels, tea-towels, sheets, duvet and pillow case covers in the main bathroom.

There is a vacuum cleaner and cleaning products available in the apartment should you require them during your stay. Where the apartment is left in an unsatisfactory state and requires cleaning in excess of the norm, we will deduct a fee from your damage deposit to cover the costs of additional cleaning. If there are unreasonable breakages due to the actions of you or visitors during your stay, or property keys are lost, you will be required to pay for replacement.

Accuracy

The One Le Savoy website, social media sites, and external booking sites are accurate reflections of the property and surroundings at the time of publication (November 2018), as are email and telephone communications, however it is possible that the furnishings and furniture in the apartment may change from time to time. Please contact us for an updated list of inventory if required.

If you find, when you are at the apartment, that something is not as you expected, damaged or becomes inoperable during your stay, please contact us or our agents as soon as possible so that we can rectify. If, on your arrival, you find something broken or not working properly, please contact us within 24 hours of arrival.
